Design, simulation and robotic assembly of reversible timber structures

Wood is more and seen as a sustainable solution to offset carbon emissions from constructions. In response in parallel this, the research robotic timber construction evolving rapidly, pushed by Industry 4.0 technologies integration of digital physical assets. This paper presents an approach for design assembly automation layered structures, with use flexible cell based on collaborative robots. Advanced procedures non-standard structures are here established integrated.
